Psalm 56:13

I am bound, O God, by vows to you.

The vow's that bind me to God are not simply vows that I have taken, but also vows that God has made.  Actually, it is something much stronger than vows that God has made.  It is a covenant.  God's covenant with all humans is a sacred family bond.  He has said, "I will be your God and you will be my people".  He doesn't want us to be his servants.  He doesn't want us to be his slaves.  He wants us to be his children.  By our baptismal covenant, we are all sons and daughters of God.  That makes him our Father.  That's right- OUR FATHER.  God's covenant with us to be our God and make us his people, and our covenant with God at baptism to accept him as our God and Father are what binds us together.

Take this world from me
I don't need it anymore.
I am finally free
My heart is spoken for.

Oh and I praise you
Oh and I worship you...

Covered by your love divine
Child of the risen Lord.
To hear you say "This one's mine"
My heart is spoken for.

Now I have a peace
I've never known before.
I find myself complete
My heart is spoken for.

Oh and I praise you
Oh and I worship you...

Covered by your love divine
Child of the risen Lord
To hear you say "This one's mine"
My heart is spoken for.

MERCY ME- "Spoken For"
